Brittny – Manager/Pet Care Specialist

2-brittny

My name is Brittny and I spent most of my childhood growing up in the Malibu canyons. My true love for animals developed when I was just about the age of six and I discovered a feral cat and her litter of kittens right in my own backyard! My Grandma and I raised them, until we eventually found each one a forever home. At the age of twelve I moved to the South Bay, in the city of El Segundo. While growing up with cats, I never had the joy of having a dog…until a beautiful puppy named Charlie unexpectedly came into my life about five years ago. I was also able to find homes for her three siblings as well. That was the moment when I realized that I needed to pursue my passion for helping and caring for animals. During this new discovery, I changed my major and graduated with a BA in Communication Studies at California State University, Northridge. While working towards this degree, I was able to research and voice my opinions on issues surrounding our furry companions and show what beautiful creatures they really are. I am so fortunate to be apart of the Auntie Em’s team, and I am looking forward to sharing my love and dedication with each and every one of your fur-kids!

Novella – Pet Care Specialist

2-novella

My name is Novella and I grew up in Manhattan Beach. Ever since I was a youngster I have had a deep love for animals. During my childhood I owned a lot of rats and cats. Over the past 5 years I have worked to cultivate more knowledge and experience with animals. I am a certified veterinary assistant, I volunteered for a cat rescue for a summer, worked at petsmart as an associate and a dog bather, and for a year and a half I worked at a pet hospital as a receptionist. Currently, I have two cats named Gretchen and Plum, and an amazing blind doggie named Lucky. I am so happy to be working for a company like Auntie Em’s and am looking forward to meeting new doggies and kitties and making them feel loved and cared for!

I was born and raised in Torrance. We have always had animals in my home. As a teenager, I began bringing home   lost and stray dogs that I found. It was a great feeling to see them reunited with their owners! I knew I loved Animals from a young age.  Since high school, I have fostered dogs and cats of all ages. I find myself volunteering for rescues on a regular basis. I guess you can say it is my passion. I have two rescued dogs, Jax & Frankie and two cats, Sam & Mickey all of who I rescued myself. I have been with Auntie Em’s for about 4 years now, and I absolutely love it! I’m loving working for for Auntie Em. She is so caring and dedicated. Definitely an inspiration for me. It’s so nice to help people who really care for their pets as much as I do. Giving these animals the love and attention they need will keep them healthy and happy.

My name is Eva and I grew up in Redondo Beach. I began pet sitting 12 years ago helping my friend launch her pet sitting business in the South Bay. I love animals, so a pet sitting and dog walking career is Heaven for me. I have been a member of Auntie Em’s for the past 3 years and I am so incredibly proud what this company stands for. I currently reside in North Torrance with my 2 roommates, my adorable Malti-Chi named Banshee, a Labrador named Diamond and a Labrador-Pincher-Great Dane mix,  Stella. We care and love them all and it shows through their happy tails and smiling faces. I love what I do, it’s the best job in the world!

Lucas – Pet Care Specialist

I’m Lucas (aka Subro)! I grew up in the south of Brazil with my mom, our 15 dogs, two iguanas and a lot of hamsters! I was always surrounded by animals since I can remember and as I grew up I started to study animal behavior and became a dog trainer. I’ve been working training dogs and cats for 5 years and volunteered at some non profit organizations, helping animals to improve their adoptability and aided in rescuing them from the streets. I have two amazing rescued dogs and I couldn’t be more proud of them. Taking care of animals is my favorite thing in the world. My mission is to spread the word of ethical and positive ways to take care of animals and to make them feel truly happy. I’m really glad to work for Auntie Em, a person who shares the same motivation.”Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much”.

Andressa – Pet Care Specialist

pet sitter pictureMy name is Andressa and I grew up in the south of Brazil. Animals are my true passion. About 6 years ago I adopted my dog Robin who gave me unconditional love and taught me so much. Robin helped me realize what I want to do in life, help our little angels live the best life possible. I started doing volunteer work for non profit organizations which led me to start studying animal behavior so I could work with our furry friends. Working with over 15 dogs at the same time in day cares, training and most important, having the best time possible, I had the chance to learn and gain experience. I believe that positive reinforcement training is the way to show love and respect to all animals. The more I learn about this amazing world related to animals the more I love it. I’m happy to be part of this beautiful family called Auntie Em’s. “We are greater than the sum of our parts.”

Adriana – Pet Care Specialist

AdrianaHello, I’m Adriana.
Pretty much all of my life I have had animals to care for. From rats and guinea pigs to iguanas and turtles, but when my first dog Snow entered my life she changed it for the better. My mother and I found Snow wandering the streets so we decided to take her home, feed her, and wash her up. After asking around we found out she was a stray so we decided to give her a home with us. It wasn’t long after that she became my best friend. Snow now has two other sibling that can call our place home as well.
I look forward to caring for your best friends as well.

Sabrina – Pet Care Specialist

SabrinaMy name is Sabrina, I grew up in Dana Point. When I was little, I spent most of my time in my dad’s beautiful garden where I had found a litter of kittens. My dad and I took responsibility & nurtured those kittens until they were healthy enough to find safe and loving homes for each and every one. Going through this made me feel so good to have done that for helpless animals who were unable to care for themselves. This is when it occurred to me that I loved animals. We would go to shelters to volunteer a couple times a week. We would feed, play and love each and every dog and cat. Over the years I have helped pet sit for friends and family. I look forward to caring for your loved ones, too!
