Kuma is 8 years young (Black-tri Australian Shepherd – Mini, Neutered). He is house broken and uses a doggy door.
He has been good with the current owner’s 11-year-old grandson and foster’s teenage son but not sure about younger kids.
He has had recent check ups and a clean bill of health.
He can be nervous to start when meeting new people but once he warms up, he is affectionate, loves walks, and car rides.
He has attended daycare with other dogs where he is mostly aloof but can be reactive on leash, so best he is with someone experienced. He needs regular exercise and engagement, which the current owner is no longer able to provide.
His groomer says he is such a good boy in the tub and on the table and she loves him so much!

Kuma is our neighbor and is such a beautiful soul. He loves when I give him tummy rubs. Kuma is such a fabulous dog and enjoys watching my two kitties through the fence. Never growls or shows a mean streak when he is around people that his owner and Kuma know love them both. His current Parent has taken such excellent & loving care of Kuma that a nice family or a single person would find a real treasure if they were able to provide Kuma with a forever home. He is pure LOVE as is his Parent. I’ve had the privilege of knowing Kuma’s Parent for close to 22 years and all of her doggies have been extra special beings and so well taken care of and loved. When they cross the Rainbow Bridge it takes Kuma’s parent some tim to adjust to one of the babies not being around. Then with a burst of energy, we have a new arrival in the neighborhood that everyone can’t help but not LOVE !! Please consider Kuma as a forever companion and open your hearts and home to a very special soul named “KUMA !!” You’ll never look back and wonder what kind of life you had before Kuma entered your world. Love given is returned ten fold with this beautiful doggie named Kuma !! JOEL
